Since 2016, we have bought and sold vinyl records throughout Texas as a portable record store. We are proud to say that Pharr Out Records officially opened its doors on March 25, 2023 in the heart of downtown Pharr, Texas. In those 7 years, the most important thing we have learned is that the Rio Grande Valley is a cornerstone in music history. Musical genres were created in the RGV. Instruments like the accordion and the bajo sexto made their claim to fame here in the RGV. Artist born here became household names all over the world.
Our mission as a business is to help preserve our musical heritage by buying and selling records that tell the story of the RGV, as well as catering to the new generation of music lovers and the talented artist that are native to the southern tip of Texas.
